Fear of change is always paralyzing. One of those fears is the alleged lack of projects and actors for the transition process and for the future of Cuba. Often, authorities and international observers interested in maintaining the status quo in Cuba, argue that changes are needed, but that the problem is that there
are no viable projects or serious actors to play the main roles. This is one of the main pitfalls that hinder the path to democracy.
