“Andrew brings great enthusiasm, competence, and commitment to this role and the Board of Directors is excited to capitalize on it to continue to play a role in relations between our communities and our two countries,” said Carlos Saladrigas, Chairman of the Cuba Study Group.
“As Cuba undergoes an important process of change, and the United States and the Cuban-American community pursue a process of reconciliation, the work of the Cuba Study Group will be more important than ever. While much progress has been made since the Group’s founding, we must continue to play an important role in advocating the removal of all obstacles that hinder the full potential of the Cuban people,” added Saladrigas.
“We are confident that Andrew will help the Cuba Study Group achieve its goals and navigate effectively through continuing changes in Cuba and U.S. relations,” concluded Saladrigas.
