TOKYO —Prime Minister Shinzo Abe is considering visiting Cuba late next month, a Japanese government source said Thursday, in what would be the first visit by a Japanese premier.
The visit, coinciding with his attendance at the U.N. General Assembly in New York, would offer Abe an opportunity to affirm Japan’s resolve to strengthen bilateral coordination and expand Japanese companies’ investments in Cuba.
